On May 4-6 Olympiad in programming entitled "Ilia Vekua Cup 2012 was held. Students, high school and those representing various universities and schools participated, including some from CU's School of Technology.
Team one: Demur Nodia, Gegi Pirtskhalava, Giorgi Tkeshelashvil
Team: Giorgi Gagoshidze, Irakli Chitadze, Irakli Gogoladze
The first day of competition was for team competition and the next for high school students and individual participants. "Ilia Vekua Cup 2012 was first Olympiad for these two teams and in spite of limited experience made a good showing. Students said afterwards that the experience gained was most valuable.
