A public lecture and discussion was held at Caucasus University, organized by the CU's "International Research Center for the Study of Georgia" With Sulkhan Saladze (co-founder and director of Mappa Cartography) on the topic: "Georgia on Old European Maps".

The public lecture discussed the markings related to Georgia on European maps; the peculiarities of the depiction of Georgia on ancient maps; Portolans and the five-pointed flag of Georgia; Sulkhan Saba and Vakhushti Batonishvili - the participation of Georgians in the development of European cartography; GEORGIA's "birth certificate" and From GEORGIA to the Caucasus.
