On June 4, at the invitation of the Caucasus School of Humanities and Social Sciences, a public lecture by French psychoanalyst Olivier Douville was held in the university's conference hall on the topic "Fundamentals and Relevance of Psychoanalytical Anthropology."
The public lecture was held in cooperation with " Espace Géorgien pour la psychanalyse ".
Olivier Douville is a psychoanalyst and anthropologist who teaches psychoanalysis and psychopathology at Paris Nanterre University and Université de Paris. He is an honorary member of the Association for the Advancement of Psychiatry, a member of the Paris Psychoanalytic Association and the Association for Psychoanalytic Training and Freudian Research (Espace Analytique), and a member of the Scientific Committee of the European Psychoanalytic Federation. Additionally, he is an honorary member of the French Association of Anthropologists, a recipient of the Order of the French Legion of Honor, and the founder of the Association “Espace Géorgien pour la psychanalyse."
The meeting was moderated by Shalva Maminashvili, associate professor of Caucasus University, co-founder of "Espace Géorgien pour la psychanalyse".
