On 20 June, the Caucasus School of Medicine organized a public lecture titled “Modern Methods of Migraine Treatment and Prevention.”

The lecture was delivered by Mariam Vashakidze, Invited Lecturer at the School of Medicine.

The meeting focused on the classification of headache as one of the most common neurological symptoms, current guidelines for migraine management, and relevant medical cases. The lecture also covered modern approaches presented at the joint conference of the Chinese and International Headache Societies in May 2026, as well as upcoming research aimed at optimizing treatment and improving its effectiveness.

The lecture concluded with a question-and-answer session.
