Public Lecture on the Topic - Unveiling the Interplay: ICT as a Moderator in the Renewable Energy and Human Development Nexus within BRICS Countries”

On April 29, within the framework of cooperation between Caucasus University and the French-Georgian University, another public lecture was held for students and academic staff of the School of Economics at Caucasus University. The topic of the lecture was - “Unveiling the Interplay: ICT as a Moderator in the Renewable Energy and Human Development Nexus within BRICS Countries”.

 

The event was opened with a welcome speech by Ketevan Karbaia, Director of the International Department of Caucasus University.

 

The lecture was delivered by Azer Dilanchiev, an affiliated professor at the School of Economics of Caucasus University. Within the lecture, it was discussed how ICT influences the relationship between energy consumption and human development in BRICS countries, based on data from 2010–2023. It was also emphasized that the development of renewable energy and technology is particularly important, as their combination leads to more effective outcomes.

 

It is worth noting that, within the framework of this cooperation, more public lectures are planned in the future. These will provide students and academic staff of the School of Economics at Caucasus University with opportunities to share the experience of distinguished specialists and receive advice based on best practices.
