The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of Caucasus University organized a public lecture on the topic “What Japan Can Teach Us About Building Startups”.

The invited speaker of the public lecture was Boonho Koh, Incubation Manager at Tsucrea Co. Ltd., Japan, who has extensive experience in innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup development.

During the lecture, participants learned about:

▪️ Japan’s experience and innovation ecosystem;
▪️ Creating products tailored to real customer needs;
▪️ The Kaizen principle and the importance of continuous improvement;
▪️ Creating quality, trust, and long-term value;
▪️ Developing a global mindset from the early stages and considering international opportunities.

The lecture also explored the topic from the opposite perspective - what Japan can learn from the entrepreneurial experience of the Caucasus. The discussion highlighted important characteristics of the region, including adaptability, flexibility, willingness to experiment, global thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively across different cultures.
