On December 3, Caucasus University hosted a public lecture by Dutch psychologist Jan Taal, titled “The Art of Living and Imagining.” The event was held through the joint initiative of Caucasus School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Institute of Psychosynthesis of Georgia.
Jan Taal is the founder and director of the Amsterdam School of Imagery (established in 1985). His academic and professional background spans the fields of health psychology, clinical psychology, and cultural psychology.
During the lecture, Jan Taal shared his extensive experience in psychotherapy and spoke in depth about the role of imagination within the therapeutic process, engaging students in reflection on how imagery can shape emotional well-being and personal growth.
