Public Lecture - Regulations Related to Granting Resort Status as an Important Lever for Tourism Development

On April 11, a public lecture by the School of Tourism Professor Giorgi Bregadze was held at Caucasus University. The topic of the lecture was "Regulations Related to Granting Resort Status as an Important Lever for Tourism Development".

 

During the lecture, Giorgi Bregadze discussed the procedures for granting resort status based on the example of Eastern European countries. The lecture assessed how sharing the experience of these countries could contribute to the sustainable development of tourism in Georgia and help improve the quality of tourism services.

 

The lecture also included:

  • A review of the legislative framework related to resorts in Georgia;
  • Regulations related to resorts in Eastern European countries;
  • Prospects for introducing international practice in Georgia.

 

The lecture was attended by students of the School of Tourism, administration, professors and other persons interested in this issue.
