A Demo Day was held in Oni Municipality as part of the Racha-Lechkhumi Pre-Acceleration Program of the Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA).

As part of the event, participants presented the innovative business ideas they had developed throughout the program to a jury. Seven startup teams presented their ideas at the Demo Day. Over the course of four weeks, with the support of mentors, the teams worked on refining their ideas, developing their business models, and defining their go-to-market strategies.

The participants were evaluated by a jury comprising:

• Teona Chukhrukidze – Program Manager at the Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency
• Levan Merebashvili – Founder and CEO of SAIT and winner of GITA’s GEL 150,000 Grant Competition
• Ana Lebanidze – Founder of Psycare and winner of GITA’s Racha-Lechkhumi GEL 25,000 Grant Competition

At the end of the Demo Day, Teachme AI was announced as the winning startup.

The winning team has become a beneficiary of the Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, giving them the opportunity to continue receiving the Center’s ongoing support at the next stages of their idea development. Based on their needs, the team will have access to mentoring, consultations, and other resources that will support the successful development of their startup.

In addition, to support the winning team, the Oni Municipality provided a workspace that the startup will be able to use as needed throughout the development of its activities and business idea.

The Pre-Acceleration Program aims to promote the development of innovative and technology-driven entrepreneurship in the regions, empower local innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs, and provide them with practical knowledge and mentorship to help transform their ideas into viable businesses and successfully integrate into Georgia’s startup ecosystem.

The program is implemented by the Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center.
