On September 30, representatives of City Auditor’s Office of Sacramento held a public lecture at Caucasus University. Senior Auditor Jordan Swinney and Assistant City Auditor Lynn Bashaw provided the students with information on auditing in general, their work and the Sacramento Auditor’s Office.

The meeting was held within the framework of the American Council’s Professional Fellows Program, conducted in California, where the Georgian side was learning about the effectiveness of Sacramento City Auditor’s Office's activities in this area. Gender and ethnicity audit fields were also highlighted.

Within the framework of the project, the representatives of the office visited the Parliament of Georgia to share their experience.

Caucasus University students, academic personnel and staff were given an opportunity to ask the speakers questions about issues interesting to them.
