On November 24, a Science Seminar was held at Caucasus University at which two technology related issues were discussed.
“Digital Fiber-Optical Systems of Transmission and Technologies” – speaker: Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Revaz Svanidze.
“On the Exploitation of the Innovative Method of Magnetronic Sputtering in the Process of Obtaining Nano Materials”, speaker – Associate Professor of Caucasus University Professor Zaur Berishvili and PhD in Materials Science (Resistivity) Ms. Marina Kipiani. The issue was related to a technology patented in Georgia and abroad, namely: utilization of a new approach in the magnetronic sputtering in the form of a rotating magnetic field and forces of gravity.
Furthermore, presentation of a book “Digital Fiber-Optic Systems and Technologies of Transmission” was held and appropriate materials were presented.
The seminar was attended by representatives of Caucasus University as well as by invited scientists.
