On February 14, at Caucasus University, an opening ceremony of The SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals was held.
Executive Director of UNGCNG, Salome Zurabishvili and Vice President of Caucasus University for nternationalization, Irena Melua addressed the audience.
The SDG Innovation Acceleration Program is being held in Georgia for the first time, and the exclusive partner of the Georgia Network of the UN Global Compact is the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Caucasus University.
Within the framework of the event, UNGCNG Corporate Sustainability Academy Coordinator, Nino Liparteliani presented the program, its mission and goals. Acceleration program mentors, facilitators and representatives of participating companies were also introduced.
The SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals is an opportunity for participating companies of the UN Global Compact to empower young talent within their organizations to collaborate and accelerate business innovation towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Within the framework of the event, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the UNGCNG and Caucasus University. The memorandum aims to deepen the partnership between the UNGCNG and the University.
SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals is conducted with the support of the United Nations Global Compact and the Swedish Government, in cooperation with the Caucasus University.
