"SDG Innovation Accelerator Program for Young Professionals" - First Working Meeting

On March 26, the first working meeting of the United Nations Global Compact’s "SDG Innovation Accelerator Program for Young Professionals" was held at Caucasus University.

 

The SDG Innovation Accelerator Program is being implemented in Georgia for the third time, with Caucasus University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center serving as the exclusive partner of the United Nations Global Compact Network Georgia.

 

At the program’s opening meeting, the attendees were addressed by Irakli Svanidze, Acting Head of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of Caucasus University, and Keti Bochorishvili, Manager of Acceleration Programs and Academy of the UN Global Compact Network Georgia.

 

The meeting was facilitated by Sesili Verdzadze, Manager of the UNDP project "Support to Public Administration in Georgia".

 

During the event, the organizers introduced the participants to the objectives, mission, and content of the Accelerator Program. Additionally, they presented the mentors of the program and the representatives of participating companies. The main topic of the meeting was the identification of challenges, where program participants familiarized themselves with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), discussed the challenges faced by their respective companies, and engaged in thematic exercises.
