Caucasus University Professor Irma Khachidze has received a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) - " Research Stays for University Academics and Scientists", in which Irma Khachidze will work in the Schleswig-Holstein University Clinic in Germany on the project "Identification and validation of neuro/biomarkers in neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, ASD)". It should be noted that this scholarship provides an opportunity to study/evaluate the ongoing processes in the brains of patients with neurodevelopmental disorders and to share the experience gained in Germany in Georgia.
Professor Irma Khachidze has been teaching for more than 10 years and is currently a professor at Caucasus University, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, teaching the basics of neuropsychology in Georgian and neurophysiology in English. Irma Khachidze is the founder of the Georgian Society of Psychophysiological Studies, the author of about 90 scientific papers and the head of numerous international projects.
