TechXplore 2026

17 March 2026

Students of Caucasus School of Technology and beneficiaries of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center took part in the TechXplore 2026 technology hackathon, organized by TBC IT Academy.

The hackathon was held on March 11–14 and brought together over 150 participants. The event focused on strengthening cross-functional teamwork, applying Agile methodologies in practice, and developing both technical and business skills.

We are proud to highlight that the team WinTech, led by Caucasus University student Giorgi Burjaliani, won the hackathon and was awarded a prize of 5,000 GEL.

Their project (TBC Youth)  is an innovative platform designed to promote financial literacy among young people. It combines everyday banking features with educational and gamified elements, allowing users to complete tasks, earn points, level up, and receive rewards- making financial education more engaging and accessible.

Another Caucasus University student, Giorgi Sulkhanishvili, also participated in the hackathon. His team developed Smart Tax Stash -  a digital tool for individual entrepreneurs that automatically tracks taxable transactions, calculates the 1% tax, and sends timely reminders ahead of tax declaration deadlines.

We congratulate the winning team and all participants on this great achievement and wish them continued success.
