The 10th Annual International Conference of Caucasus University

On November 7–8, Caucasus University hosted the 10th Annual International Conference titled "Digital World Evolution and Sustainable Development Goals: Transformation of Industries and Professions for Sustainable Development."

 

The aim of the conference was to explore the transformative potential of digital technologies across various industries and professions, as well as their impact on achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Alongside Georgian colleagues, representatives from academic and industrial sectors from different countries across Europe and Asia presented their research and contributed significantly to the scientific discussion on the interconnection between digitalization and sustainable development.

 

The topics discussed at the conference covered the challenges and opportunities of digitalization in the fields of education, governance, technology, economy, business, media, architecture, and law, and their potential influence on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

 

The conference was divided into six working sessions according to the themes of the presentations, with the participation of more than 30 representatives from academia and industry.
