The 8th the Network of International Business and Economics Schools (NIBES) Research Workshop, hosted remotely by ESC Clermont Business School on April 9, 2024, focused on “Managing Sustainable Organizations under Planetary Boundaries”.
Vakhtang Partsvania, affiliated professor of the Business School of Caucasus University, made a presentation titled “How Corporate Culture Contributes to Decarbonization in the Transport Sector: A Case Study of Scania”, and he provided valuable insights into how corporate culture can drive decarbonization efforts in multinational corporations operating in the transport sector.
The workshop aimed to address gaps in existing research by advocating for interdisciplinary approaches to understanding sustainable management within planetary limits.
The workshop was attended by members of NIBES, including professors from various Schools of Business and Economics. Caucasus University, a member of the NIBES global network since 2007, actively participates in collaborative initiatives such as student and staff exchanges, joint research, internships, and other innovative projects.
