Caucasus University took part in the first team chess championship between universities in Georgia.

Zura Kevanishvili, a student of the Caucasus School of Technology, secured second place on the third board.

Representing Caucasus University were the following students:

• Davit Gotsiridze – School of Governance
• Zura Gamrekelashvili – School of Technology
• Zura Kevanishvili – School of Technology
• Nodar Tatoshili – School of Business

The championship was organized by the Georgian State University of Physical Education and Sport in collaboration with the Georgian Chess Federation, with the aim of promoting chess among university students.
