On October 30, the kick-off meeting of the project funded within the framework of the Book Translation Program 2023 was held, which envisages the translation and publication of John McComark's book "EU Politics" into Georgian. 

The event was attended by the Vice President for internationalization of Caucasus University in the field of internationalization Irena Melua, Project Coordinator Khatuna Basilashvili, Director of the Registry and Case Management Department Maka Tsibadze, Director of Project Management Department Akaki Kapanadze and Assistant of Project Management Director Dali Kordzaia.

During the mentioned meeting, the project coordinator, together with the university representatives, discussed the objectives, action plan and relevant timeframes of the project, as well as the participants of the meeting assessed the details of the translation and publication process of the book.

The main goal of the project is to increase financial and physical access to the latest research and textbooks for Georgian students, researchers and interested public.
