The project led by Judge Levan Darbaidze, an affiliated professor of the School of Law at Caucasus University, won the 2023 fundamental research competition held by the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation.
The evaluation was conducted by the European Science Foundation (ESF-SC). Out of approximately 500 project applications, the Caucasus University project was recognized as one of the winning projects.
Within the framework of the project, for the first time in Georgia, local and international experts will collaborate to create commentaries on the Code of Juvenile Justice, which, from an educational and practical point of view, will provide significant assistance to students, practicing lawyers and any other persons interested in children's rights.
