On November 22, the President of Caucasus University Kakha Shengelia, hosted the delegation of the University of Tuscia, Italy, led by the Rector, Prof. Stefano Ubertini.
Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was held regarding the deepening of the existing cooperation, with the involvement of the President of Caucasus University, Kakha Shengelia, Vice-President of Internationalization, Ms. Irena Melua, the Dean of Caucasus School of Economics, Prof. Ioseb Berikashvili, as well as, Director of International Relations Department, Ms. Ketevan Karbaia and Deputy Director of International Relations Department, Ms. Ana Tavartkiladze.
During the meeting, the parties have discussed the present partnership between the Universities in the framework of Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility program. Also, with the purpose of extending the cooperation, the strategy of developing a double degree program with the involvement of the Caucasus School of Economics was discussed.
It should also be mentioned, that during the visit, the delegation of the University of Tuscia met the members of Caucasus University administration who visited University of Tuscia within the Erasmus+ mobility program, as well as, students who will spend the next academic semester at the partner university.
University of Tuscia is one of the most important strategic partners of Caucasus University in Italy in the framework of Erasmus+ credit mobility project. Within the scope of cooperation between universities, numerous mobilities shave been carried out with the involvement of students, academic and administrative personnel of the Caucasus University.
