On February 18th, Tatia Chokoraia, a head of Academic Writing Center at Caucasus University conducted a webinar on plagiarism prevention mechanisms.
The trainer discussed the following topics: the university politics of plagiarism prevention, the importance of rising academic integrity culture, the problems identified in the program “Turnitin” and their solutions.
The webinar was attended by students and professors. The meeting had an interactive format and the participants could receive feedback on the questions they were interested in.
The webinar was held for Plagiarism Prevention International Day.
February is dedicated to raising awareness on plagiarism prevention issues. The Academic Writing Center is holding a series of webinars for students and lecturers from February 8t to March 1.
