On November 15, organized by the School of Media and initiated by guest lecturer Mariam Gamdlishvili, within the "Information Operations and Strategic Communications" lecture course, Caucasus University hosted Vivian Walker, an American diplomat, professor at Georgetown University and the National War College, and an expert and researcher in strategic communications and public diplomacy. She served as a guest speaker during the visit.
Vivian met with the students of the School of Media and discussed important topics, such as: modern security challenges, cyber security, propaganda, information and psychological operations. Additionally, she touched on current issues on the world security agenda and analyzed the role of strategic communications in countering propaganda and disinformation.
At the end of the meeting, the students received answers to questions of importance to them.
