On October 24, two workshops were held for students of the architecture program of Caucasus University School of Architecture and Design - walking and observational practice, collective drawing.
Walks and observational practices were conducted in the vicinity of Lisi lake and included a march from the "Lisi yards" (district) to the dry lake. Short lectures on the importance of urban boundaries were held during the walk.
Architect and urbanist Irakli Zhvania conducted a lecture for architecture students within the architectural biennial.
The second workshop, Collective Painting on the Edge of the City, Frontier Landscapes, involved an exploration of the intersection of landscape, infrastructure, and urban sprawl. Collective drawing was carried out as an alternative process of documenting and mapping the place.
The seminar was led by the founders of NOIA, Salome Katamadze and Duccio Fantoni.
