A workshop was held at Caucasus University for applicants interested in sociology, on the topic: "What is the profession of a sociologist and how to conduct research".
The workshop was conducted by the head of the Sociology Program of Caucasus University, Professor - Flora (Keso) Esebua.
The applicants performed practical work in groups on the topic: How to choose a profession in Georgia? - Within the framework of this task, the participants discussed the criteria for choosing a profession.
Considering the results of the first group work and discussion, as well as the information received about social research and sociology, the participants outlined the main findings as a result of the work (eg: differences in judging their own and others' choices, discovering the importance of the urban/rural gap, gender or other factors, etc.).
At the end of the workshop, the entrants were given certificates.
