Writer's Day - the work of Otar Chiladze

On April 8, the Caucasus University Library hosted the event: Writer's Day - Otar Chiladze's work. Invited researcher, Doctor of Philology Ada Nemsadze (TSU Shota Rustaveli Institute of Georgian Literature) spoke about the main concepts of Otar Chiladze's prose; She analyzed the writer's views on survival, the primary mission of humanity, and worldly duty as portrayed in various works; she focused on the issues of personal (psychosocial), national, social identity, the importance of their determination in shaping individual personalities.

 

The event was planned in response to the requestion from undergraduate students of Georgian philology (Ketevan Vacheishvili and Elene Japaridze were the initiators).

 

The event was held within the framework of one of the important projects of Caucasus University - "I love Georgian - My State Language" (author - Professor Mariam Manjgaladze). This initiative aims to promote and study Georgian as the state language, as well as Georgian languages and dialects.
