Presentation of Zviad Dzidziguri's book - "Episodes from the recent history of Georgia. The 1990s and after..."

On March 22, the Caucasus University conference hall hosted the presentation of the book "Episodes from the recent history of Georgia. The 1990s and after..." by the associate professor of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Zviad Dzidziguri. The book was published as part of Caucasus University's internal funding program for research activities. The project was carried out by the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Caucasus University, under the leadership of Professor Guranda Chelidze.

 

Kakha Shengelia, President of Caucasus University, opened the book presentation. He emphasized the significance of the research endeavors of the university's academic staff in creating and disseminating new knowledge, in which internal grant funding at the Caucasus University plays a major role.

 

Professor Guranda Chelidze, the project leader, emphasized the necessity of publishing the book and expressed gratitude to the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Caucasus University Research Promotion Department, and the university administration for their support and cooperation. During the presentation, the author recounted the events depicted in the book, drawing from personal experiences. This sparked a discussion among the attendees.

 

The head of the Caucasus University Research Promotion Department, Ms. Sofio Kobakhidze, along with invited professors at Caucasus University, Davit Berdzenishvili and Zaza Adeishvili, and Professor Temur Khutsishvili from Caucasus University, as well as other well-known state and political figures, addressed the audience.
