A Seminar on Theological Education
On July 15-22, in Akhalkalaki, at St. Nino's Theological Institute a seminar on theological education was held. Kakha Shengelia, CU president and CU students attended the seminar. The guests were hosted by Metropolitan Nikoloz of Akhalkalaki and Kumurdo Eparchy, who is the rector of St. Nino's theological Institute. Students participated in various cultural programs.

The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili honoured CU Faculty Members with State Awards
On June 28, the President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, met with faculty members of various universities, amongst them Caucasus University. For their contribution in professional and scientific activities, they were given state awards. Photo Exhibition "City"
On June 20, CU's School of Media  exhibited student works. The main aim of Guram Tsibakhasvili's class final project entitled "City" is to showcase student work to wider audience and to motivate students; the project involves the work by freshmen of CSM's new audiovisual program. Famous photographers evaluated the photos submitted by students.
