PROGRAM'S OVERVIEW

What we offer?

The aim of the program is to prepare specialists holding a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture who meet contemporary professional requirements. Students study the fundamentals of architecture, the main principles and methods of design, and modern technologies in architectural design and construction.

Caucasus University’s Architecture Program is the first and only program in Georgia to hold unconditional accreditation from the Royal Institute of British Architects - RIBA Part 1.

RIBA membership grants Caucasus University’s Architecture Program, its students, and its graduates a number of important advantages, including: a diploma marked by the highest standards of quality; education oriented towards contemporary challenges; access to RIBA Student Awards and the President’s Medals, for which three student projects from Caucasus University have already been nominated; the opportunity to receive RIBA’s annual student scholarship, which provides financial support for students; access to one of the world’s largest libraries of architectural literature; the opportunity to participate in RIBA competitions and discussions; and continuous access to information on new standards and regulations, as RIBA serves as a guarantor of contemporary architectural values and principles.

The program includes foundational courses in fine arts, technical drawing, mathematics, and computer programs, providing a solid basis for the study of interior design, architectural planning, landscape architecture, computer graphics, and other specialized subjects. In addition, the general university and management-related courses included in the program contribute to the intellectual development of students and broaden their outlook.

Foreign Language

The program is designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge of English. For this purpose, an intensive English language course is included in the curriculum.

Architectural Project

The final and one of the most important components of the program is the architectural project. This component requires students to develop a real architectural project and present it in its final form. To ensure successful completion, students receive qualified consultations from lecturers at every stage of project development.

Professional Career: Internship and Employment

The structure of the program enables students to begin developing their professional careers before graduation and to enter employment from the third or fourth year of study. With the support of Caucasus University’s Career Services Office, students will have the opportunity to participate in internship programs or begin professional employment.

Professional Opportunities

Graduates holding a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture have broad employment prospects. In particular, they may be employed in architectural and structural design studios, construction companies, project development firms, and design studios.
