MDPI international peer-reviewed open access scientific journal LAND (Impact Factor: 3.905 (2021); 5-Year Impact Factor: 4.048 (2021)  has recently published an article “An Experimental Study of the Social Dimension of Land Consolidation Using Trust Games and Public Goods Games” by Matsatso Tepnadze, associate professor of Caucasus School of Business.

 

The conceptual framework of the study was prepared in collaboration with the Department of Land Management at the Technical University of Munich in Germany and aims to identify values and qualitative indicators to measure social preferences and to assess whether one can optimize decision support tools for land consolidation projects with such indicators.

 

As a novelty, this is the first publication in LAND concerning the social aspects of land consolidation projects where the authors tested the experimental economics methods on the case of Georgia. Field experiments were supported by Caucasus University and Georgian Farmers’ Association.
