Defense of the Doctoral Dissertation by Ana Lekveishvili, PhD Student of the English-Language Doctoral Program in Management

On July 1, the public defense of the doctoral dissertation by Ana Lekveishvili, PhD student of the English-language Doctoral Program in Management at Caucasus School of Business, was held at Caucasus University.

 

The dissertation was titled “Individual Cultural Values and Expectations for Transformational and Transactional Leadership: A Cross-Cultural Study.” The scientific supervisor of the dissertation was Professor Boris (Buba) Lezhava.

 

The dissertation defense was held before the Dissertation Committee, composed of:

 

  • Elene Jgarkava, Associate Professor, Dean of Caucasus School of Business, Caucasus University;
  • Boris (Buba) Lezhava, Professor, Vice President for Research and Strategic Development, Caucasus University;
  • Ekaterine Natsvlishvili, Affiliated Associate Professor, European University;
  • Tengiz Taktakishvili, Associate Professor, Caucasus School of Business, Caucasus University;
  • Lili Bibilashvili, Professor, East European University.

 

During the defense, the doctoral candidate presented her dissertation and responded to questions from the Committee. The reviewer, Associate Professor Ekaterine Natsvlishvili of European University, then presented her evaluation of the dissertation.

 

Ana Lekveishvili successfully defended her dissertation and by decision of the Dissertation Committee was awarded the degree of Doctor of Management.
