Defense of the Doctoral Dissertation by Saba Khergiani, PhD Student of the English-Language Doctoral Program in Management at Caucasus School of Business

On July 1, the public defense of the doctoral dissertation by Saba Khergiani, PhD student of the English-language Doctoral Program in Management at Caucasus School of Business, was held at Caucasus University.

 

The dissertation was titled “The Impact of Organizational Capabilities and Strategic Orientation toward Digitalization on Performance: The Moderating Role of Sustainability Strategy in Georgian SMEs.” The scientific supervisor of the dissertation was Professor Roya Anvari.

 

The dissertation defense was held before the Dissertation Committee, composed of the following members:

 

  • Elene Jgarkava, Associate Professor, Dean of Caucasus School of Business, Caucasus University;
  • Roya Anvari, Associate Professor, Department of Business Administration, School of Business and Administrative Sciences, University of Georgia;
  • Vakhtang Partsvania, Professor, Caucasus School of Business, Caucasus University;
  • Ekaterine Natsvlishvili, Affiliated Associate Professor, European University;
  • Tengiz Taktakishvili, Associate Professor, Caucasus School of Business, Caucasus University.

 

During the defense, the doctoral candidate presented her dissertation and responded to questions from the Committee. The reviewer, Associate Professor Ekaterine Natsvlishvili of European University, then provided her assessment of the dissertation.

 

Following the Committee’s decision, Ana Lekveishvili successfully defended her dissertation and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Management.
