International Migration Symposium in Ankara

Caucasus School of Medicine and Healthcare Management Professor Tengiz Verulava participated in the International Symposium "Global Migration Phenomenon - Security, Economic, Social, Political and Cultural Dimensions" held in Ankara, Turkey on October 8.

 The symposium featured papers by up to 60 researchers from 19 countries.  Tengiz Verulava's report "Migration of Students: A Sociological Perspectives" addressed issues related to the cultural adaptation of student migration, such as culture shock, psycho-social difficulties and interpersonal conflicts, which negatively affect the socialization of migrant students.

 The paper was published in the collection.
