On June 9-10, Caucasus University hosted a first aid competition for entrants interested in medicine.
The event was held in two stages:
At the first stage, the participants received a training - "Clinical Skills", which was delivered by Caucasus University Professor Mzia Tsiklauri.
Manipulations were performed on simulators and mannequins.
Methods of assessing vital signs:
Pulse counting method. Technique for using a pulse oximeter.

Artificial lung ventilation technique
- Techniques for removing foreign bodies:

- Intravenous injection technique
- First aid for bleeding:
First aid for venous bleeding
First aid for arterial bleeding
Locking technique
In the second stage, the entrants were tested according to Osce scenarios.
Only teams of XII grade students could participate in the competition.
The winning teams were given training vouchers:
I place 2000 GEL
II place 1400 GEL
III place 1000 GEL
