Rustaveli National Science Foundation has published a monograph by Tengiz Verulava, Doctor of Medicine, Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare of Caucasus University, entitled "The primary health care system and its role in raising health capital."
The monograph was published with the financial support of the Rustaveli National Science Foundation for fundamental research within the framework of the state scientific grant (grant FR1 7_1 01). It is the final result of a scientific project implemented in 2017-2020.
The monograph comprehensively examines the primary healthcare system in Georgia, its role in the formation of health capital. All the main problems that occur in the process of functioning of primary health care in Georgia and what is needed for its development and effective functioning have been identified.
The empirical data presented in the monograph are based on all existing published sources, as well as on the material obtained in the field, most of which are published for the first time in the framework of this monograph.
