On June 30, Caucasus University hosted the public defense of the doctoral dissertation by Valida Pantsulaia, a student of the English-language PhD Program in Economics at the School of Economics.

On June 29, Caucasus University hosted the public defense of the doctoral dissertation of Tamar Mdivnishvili, PhD candidate of the English-language Doctoral Program in Economics at the School of Economics. The dissertation - “Asymmetric Monetary Policy: A DSGE Approach,” was supervised by Mariam Kharaishvili, Assistant Professor.

A new article by Prof. Dr. Azer Dilanchiev has been published in Energy Policy, an Elsevier scientific journal indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, listed in JCR Q1, with an Impact Factor of 9.3 and CiteScore 19.3.

On June 10, 11, 12, 15, and 16, bachelor’s thesis defenses were held at the Caucasus University School of Economics. A total of 71 students presented their theses before the committee.

As part of the public lecture series of the Caucasus School of Economics, a meeting was held on the topic: “Taxes in Georgia: System and Practice.”

Zurab Ghambashidze, a student of Caucasus School of Economics successfully participated in the 11th International Conference on Applied Research in Management, Economics, and Accounting, which was held online in Cambridge, United Kingdom, from June 5–7, 2026.

A new article by Nika Chitishvili, Affiliated Assistant Professor at the School of Economics, Caucasus University, has been published in Clean Technologies and Environmental Policy - a Springer Nature scientific journal indexed in Scimago Q1, with an Impact Factor of 3.9 and CiteScore of 8.0.

On May 16, Caucasus University hosted the 8th Student Scientific Conference of the Caucasus School of Economics.

On April 29, within the framework of cooperation between Caucasus University and the French-Georgian University, another public lecture was held for students and academic staff of the School of Economics at Caucasus University. The topic of the lecture was - “Unveiling the Interplay: ICT as a Moderator in the Renewable Energy and Human Development Nexus within BRICS Countries”.

On March 27, within the framework of the cooperation between Caucasus University and the French-Georgian University, another public lecture was held for students and academic staff of the Caucasus School of Economics on the topic - “Macroprudential Policy in Central Europe and the Caucasus Region”.
