As part of the project "Enhancing Public Administration Degree Programs (BA, MA) at Caucasus School of Governance " a workshop will be held on the topic: "Access to Public Data as Method of Research" by CSG.
The workshop will address both the legal and practical aspects of accessing public data. It will explore the legal framework in place within the country, how it is implemented in practice, and the key challenges surrounding access to public information. Participants will also learn how to utilize public data as a resource for conducting research. The workshop will cover what types of information public institutions are required to disclose, as well as highlight best practices from other countries.
The workshop will be led by Levan Avalishvili, co-founder and Program Director at the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI). You can find his biography here.
