On November 24, an open lecture was given to English Philology students of Caucasus School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the initiative of Manana Matiashvili, Lecturer in Translation Studies. The students listened to a lecture by the invited guest, Lela Pirosmanishvili, a translator of English literature and philologist, on the problems of translating English literature into Georgian. Students were actively involved in the lecture; a discussion was held where the participants learned many useful tips on translation techniques.
