On November 5-9, Professor Mariam Manjgaladze of the Caucasus University School of Humanities and Social Sciences attended an international symposium at Malmö University in Sweden as a specially invited researcher along with American, Estonian and German colleagues. Mariam Manjgaladze read the report - State language ecology issues in modern Georgia.
The symposium was held in a mixed format. Each presentation was followed by an interesting discussion. Mariam Manjgaladze took part in the summary discussion at the closing of the symposium.
During the visit, a meeting was held with representatives from the Department of International Relations at Malmö University. A collaboration between Caucasus University and Malmö University within the Erasmus project was discussed during the meeting.
Another important meeting took place at Lund University, where young researchers were invited. The format of their informal meetings, considered a best practice, may be introduced at Caucasus University as well.
