CSH Professor Guranda Chelidze’s article published in the international refereed journal – “International Journal of Multilingual Education”

The internationally refereed journal "International Journal of Multilingual Education" (IJME), published by the Center for Civic Integration and Inter-Ethnic Relations and indexed in international databases, has featured the article "Binding EU Studies in the Education Policy of Georgia" by Professor Guranda Chelidze, Doctor of History, and Doctor of Law Ekaterine Kardava from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Caucasus University.

 

The article examines the current state of EU studies in Georgian higher education institutions, their mandatory inclusion in specialized European studies programs and Master of Law educational programs. It discusses the importance of expanding and strengthening EU research outside higher education, integrating it in schools.

 

The article also highlights the need to develop European studies among ethnic minorities in various regions and the role of education and science in Georgia’s better European perspective and its EU membership.
