On November 11, Ms. Natia Kvitsiani, Head of IOM Local Programs, visited Caucasus University and delivered a public lecture to the students of Caucasus School of Humanities and Social Sciences. She has been working with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the United Nations Migration Agency, since 1993 and currently oversees issues of labor migration and migration and development.
The invited guest shared her many years of experience in this field with the students and talked about migration processes in Georgia.
The conversation highlighted the implications and challenges of visa liberalization, policy and management of migration processes in Georgia. The lecture was in discussion mode. Plans for future cooperation and joint projects were outlined.
