From February 26 to March 7, Professor Mariam Manjgaladze, a professor of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of Caucasus University, was invited by the Rector of Azerbaijan Institute of Foreign Languages, Academician Kamal Abdula, to conduct lectures.  

It should be noted that until now no Azerbaijani University has ever taught the subject "Georgian Language and Culture". At this stage distance learning will continue from Georgia; at the end of the spring semester Ms. Mariam Manjgaladze will again visit Baku to conduct an intensive course at the University.

The students already read and write in Georgian and can easily speak about Georgian culture and script.
