On November 18, in the Caucasus University bookstore "Librarea", an open lecture was held for the students of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences psychology program on the topic - holotropic breathing therapy and body-oriented therapy.
The lecture was led by clinical psychologist, group psychotherapist, holotropic breathing therapy facilitator, body-oriented therapy trainer Ani Akhmeteli.
The open lecture discussed such issues as: Grof's research, how he arrived at the holotrope; How and at what depths does holotropic breathing therapy work; What processes take place in the body during holotropic breathing; When the effect obtained during the holotropic session begins and ends; What kind of result can a Holotrope participant get; Ethical issues of holotropic breathing therapy, etc.
The lecture was held in an interactive mode, the students received detailed answers to all their interesting and important questions.
