On March 18, the first event of the "I Love Georgian - My State Language" project was held at the "Georgia Calligraphers Association." The event, a literary-calligraphic salon, is planned to be held in three-stages.
Students talked about important episodes of Otar Chiladze's work and, guided by calligrapher Davit Maisuradze, began crafting calligraphic samples. On March 24, participants of the literary-calligraphic salon meetings will refine their works and showcase them at Caucasus University.
The project "I Love Georgian - My State Language" (author - professor Mariam Manjgaladze) has been implemented in CU for years. It aims to promote the study and popularization of Georgian as the state language, as well as Georgian languages and dialects.
The cycle of Georgian Language Days events has loyal supporters and co-organizers, including the "Georgian Calligraphers' Association" which has been cooperating with us on the basis of jointly developed projects for the third consecutive year.
