On June 2, Professor Tinatin Margalitadze delivered a public lecture on the topic - Why Lexicography - at the Caucasus University Bookstore - Librarea.

The lecture discussed the importance of lexicography in terms of preserving linguistic and cultural heritage, as well as the standardization of language and its protection.

Professor Tinatin Margalitadze introduced the history, peculiarities and modern technology of etymological, explanatory and bilingual dictionaries to the undergraduate students of Caucasus University, she also presented dictionaries developed by the Lexicographic Center, parallel building, teaching-scientific material and machine translation.

The public lecture aroused great interest among the students. An interesting discussion took place after the lecture.
