On March 19, Caucasus University hosted Professor Sergo Vardosanidze, doctor of historical sciences, who delivered a public lecture on the topic - "The Fight for Georgian Church and State Freedom. Catholicos-Patriarch Ambrose".

The event commemorated the 100th anniversary of the trial of Catholicos-Patriarch Ambrose. Students and academic staff learned about both well-known and lesser-known historical facts from this period in Georgia's history. The lecture delved into the challenges confronting both the country and the church. An interesting discussion took place after the lecture.
