On November 27, Dr. Irma Grdzelidze visited the fourth-year students of the sociology program at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. This visit was organized as part of the "Sociology of Education" lecture course, initiated by Mariam Jinchveleishvili, a guest lecturer at CSH.

Dr. Irma Grdzelidze currently serves as the Head of the International Accreditation Service and Strategic Development Department at Caucasus University. Additionally, she is an expert on higher education reform HERE, a member of the Doctoral Education Committee of the European University Association (EUA-CDE SC member), a Bologna expert - DAAD Bologna Peer Hub Support Expert, an associate professor at TSU, and a Fulbright researcher for the year 2021.

The topic of the lecture was: "Modern trends in the development of education".

Irma spoke about the history of modern education, challenges, recommendations and development perspectives of higher education and institutions.

An interesting discussion took place at the end of the lecture.
