Qualification to be awarded: Master of Clinical Psychology
The aim of the program is to introduce the students to Art Therapy, a widely-used and popular method of mental therapy, and prepare clinical psychologists specializing in Art Therapy.
The program graduates will make significant contributions to the field of psychological therapy by applying the Art Therapy method. Its wide application can seriously foster the development of the field and society in general.
Master’s degree holders in Clinical Art Therapy can be employed anywhere where there is a need for Psychotherapists/Art Therapists:
- Open and closed organizations for mental health
- Children’s hospices
- Oncological clinics
- Palliative care centers
- The Penitentiary system
- Organizations for people with disabilities
- Higher education organizations and secondary schools
- Non-governmental organizations.
The head of the Clinical Program of Art Therapy is psychologist and art therapist, Natia Pandjikidze, the founder of the psycho-social rehabilitation center – Kamara, and the head of the therapeutic program; a representative of Living Museum, the international network of American clinics in Georgia.
