The Research Center, established at the Caucasus School of Media in 2019, aims to promote interdisciplinary research and research-based teaching through the active involvement of academic staff, students and media industry professionals.
The Center explores the contemporary media environment, including traditional journalism, digital media and AI-powered media products. Its research focuses on how individuals and organizations create, distribut, and interpret media messages, as well as on the role and significance of media literacy in these processes.
Strategies for 2025-2027:
- Support academic research and research-based teaching;
- Organize research conferences involving academic staff and students;
- Participate in international research projects and partnerships;
- Promote media literacy by integrating research and teaching.
