On October 19, Caucasus School of Media Professor Richelle Rogers met with students to talk about the challenges of American media.
The main topics of the lecture were: the importance of verifying information, the harm that misinformation causes to society, the role of journalists today and the government's attitude towards them, bias, etc. The meeting was held in question-answer mode.
Richelle Rogers is the director of the Master's Program in Digital Storytelling at Loyola University Chicago, USA. This is her second year teaching at CSM with the help of the US Government Fulbright Program. Richelle Rogers has worked with such famous American TV presenters and journalists as Oprah Winfrey, Peter Jennings, Ted Koppel, Diane Sawyer, Barbara Walters.
At Caucasus School of Media, Richelle Rogers teaches digital storytelling techniques and documentary film.
